On November 12, 2024, the JAAN Executive Committee met under the leadership of President, Mr. Ahmed Agberankhe, mcpn. With most Exco members in attendance, the meeting focused on strategies to strengthen member engagement and increase the Association’s Internal Generated Revenue (IGR). Key areas of discussion included:

  • Member Engagement: The committee explored ways to enhance member participation, both onsite and online, ensuring that all members have opportunities to contribute and stay connected.
  • Increasing Revenue: Ideas were discussed to boost IGR, which would help sustain the Association’s activities and support future growth.
  • Monthly General Meetings: The structure of upcoming general meetings was reviewed, with emphasis placed on improving both in-person and virtual attendance and interaction.
  • Workshops for JFY 2024: Action plans were set for upcoming workshops, aligned with the current Japanese fiscal year budget. These workshops aim to provide valuable learning experiences for members.
  • Agriculture Committee: The Agriculture Committee was tasked with developing a training synopsis and ensuring proper preparation for their upcoming sessions.
  • Health Committee: The Health Committee will finalize seminar plans, selecting relevant topics that address current healthcare challenges and provide solutions to improve public health awareness.
